RETURNS

Chico's Return Policy

Merchandise returns and exchanges may be accepted (excluding "final sale" or "as-is" items, gift cards (except where required by law) and gift boxes) within 60 days of the date of purchase. Returns must be accompanied by original or gift receipt, or date and amount of purchase must be validated in our system. Customer identification may be required solely for the purpose of preventing fraud. We reserve the right to refuse or limit returns or exchanges for any reason. In the event we elect to honor a refund or exchange without proof of purchase, we will exchange merchandise or issue a merchandise credit based on the lowest historical selling price for the returned merchandise when factoring in all promotions, discounts, offers, free items (as part of a qualifying purchase) and coupons that may have applied. You will be limited to $250 in non-receipted returns within a 90 day period (excluding defective merchandise). Refunds will be made in the original form of payment, except that merchandise credit may be given for gift receipt returns. If you used multiple forms of payment, refunds will be applied in the following order (as applicable): (i) credit cards; (ii) merchandise return cards, gift cards or check; (iii) cash. If your original purchase was made by check, you may choose to receive a merchandise card, or a check will be mailed within 30 days of return. Merchandise must be in its original condition, unworn and unwashed, or merchandise must be defective. Swimwear, watches, intimates and hosiery may be returned when unworn and in original packaging or with original ticketing attached and sanitary shields (if any) attached; we do not accept returns for soiled or washed merchandise. In the event that we elect to honor a refund without original ticketing, the refund will be issued in the form of a merchandise card. Merchandise purchased in an outlet store, in a Chico’s Off the Rack store or on an outlet website may only be returned in such locations. Merchandise purchased in a full-priced store or on a full-priced website may only be returned in such locations. Purchases must be returned in the country of original purchase. Product purchased online via BorderFree may only be returned online. Merchandise purchased via PayPal may be returned in stores or returned via mail using the return shipping label provided. If you do not have your shipping label, please contact Customer Service. Shipping and handling charges on your purchase, if any, are non-refundable. Merchandise purchased in airport or cruise locations may only be returned at the original location; such locations cannot accept merchandise returns from our other stores or websites.

SHOPRUNNER ORDERS

ShopRunner members enjoy free return shipping on all their orders placed with ShopRunner. We take care of the return shipping so you can enjoy the shopping. A small number of retailer partners charge a restocking fee on a select group of items. For detailed information, always check the product page before placing an order. Offer excludes items being sold to benefit charity, gift cards, previously purchased merchandise, clearance and final sale, Non-Chicos branded items, taxes and shipping.

Bring It to a Boutique

If you prefer to return or to exchange your purchase in one of our boutiques, our sales associates will be happy to help you with your return or exchange at any of our Chico's U.S. boutiques (excluding outlets).

Make a Return by Mail

If you prefer to send your return by mail, please affix the Prepaid Return Shipping Label that we provided, along with your invoice, to the box and drop off your package in the U.S. mail. If you don't have a Prepaid Return Shipping Label, visit our Returns Portal where you can download and print a prepaid return shipping label. Please note that when we receive your return, we'll deduct $7.00 USD from your refund for handling fees. ShopRunner members enjoy free return shipping on all their orders placed with ShopRunner. If you prefer to use the carrier of your choice and create your own label, we recommend using a traceable and insured form of delivery.

Need A Different Size or Color?

If you need to exchange an item for a different SIZE or COLOR within 60 days of your original purchase, simply circle the item(s) on your packing slip that you wish to exchange and indicate the size/color you prefer. Merchandise sent to us for exchange must be unworn and unwashed or defective. Your new merchandise will be shipped out as soon as the return is received. Or, if you prefer to have your items shipped prior to the return arriving in the warehouse, you may call 1.888.855.4986 to place your order with one of our Sales Consultants. After placing your re-order, you can then make your return as outlined above.

Prefer A Different Item?

If you wish to exchange an item for a different item within 60 days of your original purchase, you may call 1.888.855.4986 to place your order with one of our Sales Consultants. After placing your re-order, you can then make your return as outlined above.

Returned Check Policy

A service charge of $25 or the maximum permitted by law will be assessed for NSF checks. The amount of the check and service charge may be collected via electronic debit or bank draft drawn from your account.

Price Adjustment Policy

We will adjust the price of an item on a one-time basis if the price decreases within 14 days of original purchase and if you present your original receipt in-store for an in-store purchase. Price adjustments will be made in the original form of payment. Online or catalog purchases are not eligible for price adjustment in our stores; additional exceptions apply.

Final Sale

Merchandise marked final sale is sold "as is" and may not be returned or exchanged and is not eligible for price adjustment. Merchandise prices ending in .98 indicate final sale.

International Customers:

At this time, orders placed via chicos.com or by telephone and shipped outside of the U.S. cannot be returned or exchanged in our boutiques or outlets. If for any reason, you are dissatisfied with your purchase within 60 days of your original purchase, please contact our Customer Service at 1.888.855.4986 or internationalorders@chicos.com in order to obtain a Return Authorization Number, which is required in order to process your return. Our Customer Service will provide you with detailed instructions regarding how to return your purchase. If you return any item(s), our e-commerce partner, Borderfree, will provide you with a refund of the original merchandise price and any duties and taxes originally paid on the item(s) in the same currency and at the same exchange rate as your original purchase. Please note that you will be responsible for return shipping and handling costs. South Carolina Residents

If you are 85 years and older, you are entitled to a 1% state sales tax reduction on any items purchased for your personal use. You must ask for this reduction and present proof of your age at the cash register.

Terms of Sale

All sales are subject to our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy posted at www.chicos.com as well as the terms and conditions of this Return Policy, which together constitute a binding contract. Merchandise is not intended for commercial resale or export; engaging in such activities will be deemed a breach of contract. Merchandise marked "final sale" is sold "as is" and may not be returned or exchanged and is not eligible for price adjustment.
